We want "Change" : Junoon Group of Youth !

Re: We want “Change” : Junoon Group of Youth !

Agreed with the basic message that people have to share responsibility instead of just holding government responsible for everything and criticizing everything without doing anything to improve the situation. Unfortunately, the author himself falls into the same category. I would suggest him trying to establish a news agency without paying any bribes. He is inviting youth to contribute through private enterprises and innovation instead of looking towards the government to provide jobs.It is, however, government’s responsibility to create an environment conducive to private enterprise and innovation. Corruption is the biggest hurdle here.

It is well established that corruption inhibits innovation, investment, private enterprise and human development in a country. As an example, a huge chunk of our software engineers stay away from ‘creative’ activities and are satisfied with providing labor intensive solutions to other organizations. The reason simply being lack of patent and licensing laws and their application which means that anything they create can easily be copied and distributed leaving their efforts unrewarded. It is not really unjustified on the part of youth to demand a system with lower levels of corruption.
