Abdullah sahib, the fear you see is the fear in the eyes of Mullahs and their supporters.

SSG Captain is recovering from a gun shot wound and probably under a lot of medications (pain killers).

So do not reflect the deep fear in your own eyes into someone else's!

What's that quote about beauty being in the eye of the beholder? In addition to this picture, I also saw President's visit to this particular patient on TV, and he actually tried to get up as the President was approaching him, and Musharraf put his hand on his head and gestured him to stay down. He looked grateful and happy on TV. With your heart full of malice, I am not surprised at the impression you formed of this picture.

There's no better purpose known to mankind than sacrificing life and limbs for Allah's happiness, serving and rescuing innocent human beings, men, women and children, fellow country men and serving one's motherland.

They all (the soldiers of Pakistan) did just that.

It depends on the one looking I guess…

Given how seriously he’s wounded, I see nothing but relaxed and contained feelings in his eyes and on his face.

It seems like he had previously been involved in Wana operations, which won him a medal. He should get something from Bush this time around, as he’s been actually doing their dirty lil jobs for pretty much throughout his career.

Well, I am a Muslim and a Canadian - I only associate with Pakistan on the terms of my preferences and Pakistani disgraced regime including the armed forces are not one of them.

hey, everyone is free to express opinion. honor them to your heart's content, but IMHO he made his career and died, for all the wrong reasons following on the orders of the regime that has no rivals when it comes to treachery and most sadly towards its own Faith & populace; the ones it vows to protect...peace.
