if danish cartoon publishers were christian then their sole purpose wouldnt be to offend, and thus wouldnt have printed.
europe can learn much from the muslim (or christian) ideollogy of right and wrong. an ever increasing 'lager lout' mentality (including within ethnic minority communities) is bound to clash with the more conservative east more often in the future.
an air of mutual respect must be encouraged. i believe the primary reason for this respect deffiency is because of racism which itself is further strengthened by the lack of innovation and military power of the east. the rise of china helps immensely with this cause, pakistan should also jump on the bandwagon

I am not sure if you would appriciate if Europe and other communities will treat the minorities in actual way as you do with your minorites in Muslim states.

I appreciate their nice gesture but then do these people really have a choice? These christians often become easy targets for religious extremists who are trying to vent their anger at western arrogance and aggression (e.g. post Rushdi affair, Iraq war, Danish cartoons etc.) I do not doubt their sincerity one bit but the real aim of such demonstrations is probably damage limitation i.e. preempt any possible backlash from fundamentalist muslims. Unfortunately in Pakistan apart from a few exceptions being a christian almost equates with being a sweeper because of general lack of education and deprivation.
