now this is a really important topic as it highlights so many contradictions that we have in our behavior
for example many of us claim that OBL was a cancer and that they are glad he is killed but the very next second they get highly furious about Dr Shakil who helped finding OBL…(although i do recognize that he was helping CIA without letting Pakistani agencies know but if pak agencies were incvolved, OBL would be still alive…ahh i am having a headache..no easy solution )
one more thing…we want billions of dollars of aid from USA but when USA asks to consider his enemies our enemies, we get upset. Well fine, then we shd show some national character..say no to USA aid and then pick whoever you want to pick as your friend. I am all up for it.

^^ It has been tradition from centuries, the weak nation/states/govt pay "Khiraaj" to powerful govts/states/nations. we been so "Powerful" that we want all the money (others call it donation/help) from US and we want to criticize it to the death. It doesn't stop here, since US is our colony, so we can stand in line from 3 A.M. for hours to give it a try for the entry permit ( others call it Visa), to visit our colony.

I think Afridi's case is handled very well by Pakistani decision makers (the army/intel) to bargain things and wait for the right opportunity. They are very good at it. They've been doing it since forever. The only problem is that they keep their "personal" interest ahead far more than the country's unlike Amreekans.
Regarding OBL, I consider Hillary Clinton's statement the best to put it for Pakistani officials which she gave in 2011 I think,
"You cant keep snakes in your backyard and expect it'll only bite your neighbors..."
That very well sums it all..
