I find it funny that you dont see the obvious bias in the western media for Israel. The sad fact is that the western media, particularly the AMERICAN mass media only shows one side of the story… They usually refuse to show any docuumentary or news story that shows the other side of the story. If they ever do report on Palestinians, it to highlight the terrorist fringe and why the Palestinians support such people.
No one hates the jews, (typical exhibition of western bias… any criticsm of israel is a condemnation of all jews, and anti-semitism, grow up man!) but everyone is disturbed by your blatant one way view of the world.

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — Two FOX News journalists were released by their kidnappers Sunday, nearly two weeks after they were taken hostage in the Gaza Strip](javascript:siteSearch(‘Gaza Strip’);).
Steve Centanni](javascript:siteSearch(‘Steve Centanni’);), 60, and Olaf Wiig](javascript:siteSearch(‘Olaf Wiig’);), 36, left Gaza and have since crossed into Israel after their release. The men left Gaza through the Erez border crossing.
The freeing of Centanni, a correspondent, and Wiig, a cameraman, ends the longest-running drama involving foreign hostages in Gaza.

The two journalists were dropped off at Gaza City’s Beach Hotel by Palestinian security officials and appeared to be in good health. A tearful Centanni embraced a Palestinian journalist briefly as he entered, then rushed upstairs as Wiig followed.
Centanni, in a phone interview shortly after his release, said “I’m fine. I’m just so happy to be free.”
He said he was so emotional because he was out and alive.
“There were times when I thought ‘I’m dead,’ and I’m not,” Centanni said. “I’m fine. I’m so very happy.”
He recounted how he and Wiig were pulled out of their car on August 14 and taken at gunpoint into another car. The kidnappers blindfolded them and handcuffed their hands behind their backs with plastic ties. They were then transferred to another car and driven to a building that they later learned was a garage.
“We were pushed down onto the dirt-covered concrete floor and we were forced to lie face down with our handcuffs on,” Centanni said.
“Olaf was in the same room with me. Our shoulders were wrenched back, very painful.”
Both of the men were forced to convert to Islam at gunpoint, Centanni said.
"We were forced to convert to Islam at gunpoint," Centanni told FOX News. “Don’t get me wrong here. I have the highest respect for Islam, and I learned a lot of good things about it, but it was something we felt we had to do because they had the guns, and we didn’t know what the hell was going on.”
Centanni’s brother, Ken, spoke to FOX News directly after the news was released.
“It’s just a tremendous amount of relief, overwhelming relief,” he said.
Later Sunday, Centanni and Wiig appeared before reporters, then traveled to the Erez crossing into Israel to leave Gaza.
“I want to thank everybody. I am happy to be here.** I hope that this never scares a single journalist away from coming to Gaza to cover the story because the Palestinian people are very beautiful and kind hearted,” Centanni told reporters. “The world needs to know more about them. Don’t be discouraged.”**
Wiig also said he was worried that the kidnapping would scare off reporters.
“My biggest concern really is that as a result of what happened to us foreign journalists will be discouraged from coming to tell the story and that would be a great tragedy for the people of Palestine,” Wiig said. “You guys need us on the streets, and you need people to be aware of the story.”

Focused? You mean like wishing death for a whole village of people? That's a pretty tight focus, I admit.

The point is, that kind of thinking is a big part of why the Palestinians are where they are right now. Yeah this attack, as reported, was sick and twisted. But hoping for the destruction and death of a whole village is sick and twisted as well. I don't notice where we hope for the destruction of Palestinian villages when attrocities occur against Jews. That philosophy puts the person on the same level as those who they claim to despise.

If this is the kind of rational thought on the Muslim side that exists to solve the Palestinian/Israeli situation then it is no wonder that they elect extremist governments and continue to pursue policies that perpetuate the problems of their people. Either that or your posts don't represent rational thought, which is it?

Sorry I assumed that when you said you hoped a rocket would land on one of their settlements and scatter it to pieces that some of the the inhabitants might acutally be in town that day. Silly me.

Even so, you still say the desrve it. (Is their a difference?) So a whole village deserves death to punish a small group of extremists that committed this despicable act? So I guess it's ok for people to say that a village of Palestinian Arabs deserves to be killed when extremists from their side make such a sick and twisted attack?

two points i shud clairify:

1. settlements are illegal they need to be dismantled. that doesnt neccesarily mean with the inhabitants inside them. rockets are a good choice as any.

2. i was specific on the settlers who deserved it and they’re mentioned in the original post. so stop getting all bent out of shape over nowt.

The reason that Israel needed to do this that if it did not hit back with a very harsh response this will make others think that Israel is vulnerable and sustible to attack and thus more Israeli soldiers and civilians will be kidnapped.

^so bombing the infrastructure of a whole country is justified(is it for u?) because they dont want people who are far inferior in terms of military to know that they themselves who get massive amounts of aide and have the one of the strongest militaries in the world r not vulnerable and susceptible to an attack? So you think press coverage of Muslim riots is unfair compared to press coverage of Jewish riots? Ha!

In France, rioting Muslim Youths injure 14 police officers a day, and most press releases dare not even identify them as Muslim youth. *There are hundreds of areas of France that are so crime ridden and dangerous that they are no-go areas for the Police. The West is tippy-toeing all over themselves to try to *avoid labeling the conflict in France as caused by Muslims, they use the euphemism "Ethnic Minorities" instead.

a) The number of ethnic kids harmed was much greater
b) The youths were rioting because of racism, not because of religion.

They very much were race riots, considering most of the youth (if not all) belonged to a particular ethnic group.

Tippy-toeng? Hardly...there's no shortage of nuts out there who tried very hard to make this into some kind of al-qaeda sponsored event...

Actually that is the crux of the problem. The hatred of Jews is the reason why there is no peace in the middle east. The Arab belief that they are superior to Jews led them to initiate wars in 48 and 67. The 48 war led to the palestinians becoming refugees and 67 war led the palestinians to becoming occupied.

And now the current arab media protrays the Jews in a more evil and hateful light than the Nazis.

I can guarantee to you right now, that if Israelis were not Jews but christians or druze or some other religion than Jews, there would have been peace in the middle east. But because they are Jews, Arabs are unable to force themselves to seek peace.

They twist the words of the Quran to suit their own political needs and are now brainwashing young people into joining this fictious jihad against Israel.
