Read your comment abt 20 somethings being friendlier and open. Got to agree. I see that in the West also. Folks of various backgrounds bring so comfortable with each other. The world is moving forward. The naysayers will have no choice.

Indians are in a quandary. Much as we would like to congratulate our nrighbors on the latters’ victory in head to head contests, such instances are rare, if not non-existent.

Thanks for your nice words Southie I was starting to feel maybe i’m a bit disillusioned. Maybe i am too obsessed for peace..maybe it’s not possible but then i got back to being the positive me. I just never came across anti-peace is not possible ideas in the small liberal bubble I am from.Most of the Pakistanis i know in real life are quite liberal so this is a good exposure to different views.

One can never be too obssessed with peace. The footsoldiers in the frontlines ( jawans) pay the price for armchair hawks. So we need more peace loving liberals.

Please Southie uncle hum ko aap se ek hi binthi hai. Aap ne bahut mujhe encourage kiya hai aur maine aap ke waje se itna saara iss topic pe post kiya hai. aap please please please amne samne recording kijiye. chahe do teen questions hi sahi. Mujhe bahut acha lagega. Asha aur umeed ki akhri kiran tak hum yeh sochenge yeh chahenge ke aap wahan post karein. humein umeed hai aap humein nirash nahi karenge. Main janti hongi aap ke liye asan nahi hoga karna. hum samajh sakte hain hamari bhi koi majbooriyan hain. But if you do post it you will give me hope to continue posting agar aap nahi karenge to humein lagega hum kuch nahi kar paye..aur hum bhi haar gaye.

I understand what you are saying southieji but I hope one day I am fortunate to hear about your views directly from you. woh nahi to at least a song or 2 voice gallery pe.
