Position: General Accountant (Canada)
Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Supervisor: Ikan Dames, Controller, North America
**Duties:
**Legal and managerial accounting responsibilities for a Canadian legal entity. Including Income Statement Balances Sheet and Cash Flow statement.
Responsible for planning (forecast and budgets) for a Canadian legal entity.
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
Ad-hoc business and accounting analysis.
Business processes development and improvement.
Developing internal controls in accordance with GAAP.
Work directly with each site as Finance support.
**Qualifications:
**Fourth year CGA, CMA or equivalent qualification.
3-5 years experience in accounting in a manufacturing environment. Preferably in the chemical industry or related
**Skills
**Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices are required
Detail oriented, interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and problem solving skills, are required.
Proficient computer skills (Oracle, or other ERP, Excel, Word) are required.
Proficient communications (written and oral) and demonstrate planning and organizing skills are required.
