Ahsan Khan and English speaking Baba went viral few days back on social media. Recent news suggest that actor will make a short story on Baba ji life.
The question is how our society is taking serious attention on Baba Ji, because he speaks English.

Re: We are invisible... Until we speak English
strange but true and also sad.
i saw the news and i'm glad that he has been offered a job, a place to live and health coverage. May Allah bless him...aameen.
der aayad, durust aayad!
this is NOT the first case...i've seen on numerous occasion that the government [both provincial and federal] take 'NOTICE' only when the issue is highlighted in the media...even those issues that are related to the matters of receiving justice.
Re: We are invisible... Until we speak English
I read this article and it has been shared on social media several time. And I don't agree with the article entirely. That man stood there for almost one year and he greeted everyone the same way (from what has been circulated in social media so far). There is a major variable that everyone missed in this news and that is, it was recorded by an actor and shared on his profile which already has several followers. That's how the video went viral, not just because he is speaking english. Also it was his story and the way he narrated it that caught everyone's attention.
My question would be, why do we tend to criticize every thing that is not on mass scale and only beneficial for an individual. What's wrong with someone getting an opportunity based on some skill they have? Also why is there a need for comparing every time. Agar yeh na hota tu waisa hota, agar aisa hota tu kaisa hota. Why cannot we be happy for this guy without comparing him with several others or if you absolutely have to do the comparison, may be just compare with himself at the time he was on streets.

I thought it was because the first thing the guy asked for (irrespective of the language he used) was a job, rather than alms.
