England beating Germany 5-1, they can’t believe it in England either. Was it well played England or an off day for Germany? In any case England deserve Congratulations
Germans where 100% sure about their victory over England.
Before Kick Off, the German commentators were discussing about the a very optimistic final result.
Assuming: 2-0, 1-0, 2-1
.....and now this!
Never under estimate your opponent!
Congratulations England.
An amazing victory at OLYMPIA STADION!
The "Kaiser" will tear his own hair out. That's for sure.

England are really performing well under Eriksson, but I am afraid they will be (as usual) one of the first to bow out of the WC.
But I don’t believe how Holland could have lost from Ireland: this means they r virtually out of the tournament!!!
fortunately my 2 favourites will be there next year
For the second time around, it's Liverpool players finding the net!
Depending where youre loyalties lie, coulc it be a 'fluke', dominance(?) or just a strange coincidence, almost as strange as beating germany in the earlier game..
good to see things going for england, would've been shame had they ended up not qualifying, which it did look like at one stage.
remember reports bout "Owen gonna be THE force in Japan/Korea" when he first burst onto the scene?

That implies that usually they never get past the first round, which is statistically incorrect.
France is magnificent now, but realize they did not make it to 2 worlscups in a row. teams go through the period where they have their ups and downs. Argentina faced it, brazil faced it..
I am sorry that i will not get a chance to see Ryan Giggs up in the world cup, but Wales just does nto cut it. Missed watching Ian Rush in global play, and Giggs will be another one of those greats which will not be seen on the world stage.
so far Ebbe Sand and Jon Dahl Tomasson (both danish players) have the most goals(in all matches so far). Ebbe with 7 total goals, and John Tomasson with 4 goals
Once a player plays a competitive international match for one country he may not play for another.
Giggs had played for England under 16 international team but then when his parents divorced he took up his mothers Welsh nationality and played for Wales. He is not eligable to play for any other country now.

Don't you think he is wasting his talent there?!
If i would have the opportunity to play either for England or Wales, I definitely would prefer England.
Even if I would live in Wales or my mum would have Welsh nationality.
