I believe that reduced overs and batting second could benefit SL. I am surprised Aus with strong batting line up selecting to bat first. SL will go for any target aggresively knowing that reduced overs means less chances to get out before the target is reached.

waisay, cricket is game of miracles. Just think of events when Pakistan won the world cup :). Pakistan with 1 win from first 4 games, almost lost the 5th and then rain and luck came to rescue. Rain brought in 1 pts against England and luck made sure that AUs beat WI. Furhter rain and luck combined their forces so that England can win loosing game against SA. All these pushed Pak into semi final and eventually cup holder.
