Sorry Southie, No PP, no Mostars to open the thread so far so here is the one before a couple of hours.
Two apparent big names but current losers face off each other at Lords to make it a much less interesting Sunday game.
Team news
The performance against New Zealand was much improved, even if it didn't produce the result South Africa so desperately needed. They are likely to stick with the same XI.
South Africa (possible): 1 Quinton de Kock (wk), 2 Hashim Amla, 3 Faf du Plessis (capt), 4 Rassie van der Dussen, 5 Aiden Markram, 6 David Miller, 7 Chris Morris, 8 Andile Phehlukwayo, 9 Kagiso Rabada, 10 Imran Tahir, 11 Lungi Ngidi
After scores of 8, 0 and 0, Malik might have played his last game in a Pakistan shirt. Haris Sohail should take his place. Hasan Ali's lacklustre performances might push him to the bench, with Mohammad Hasnain poised to slot in.
Pakistan (possible): 1 Imam-ul-Haq, 2 Fakhar Zaman, 3 Babar Azam, 4 Mohammad Hafeez, 5 Sarfaraz Ahmed (capt & wk), 6 Haris Sohail, 7 Shadab Khan, 8 Imad Wasim, 9 Mohammad Amir, 10 Wahab Riaz, 11 Shaheen Afridi
Not a great victory but victory is victory. Dropped 5 catches. Midfields and what not. Haris n amir stand out performance. Shadab also doing good. But he must improve his bowling. He got wickets Mostly coz of under pressure batting by SA. If they batting first I do believe SA had played better. He need to get the bite
wahab as usual few good balls n some very bad balls. Though he was unlucky to have two drops on 1 over. But he also dropped 1
Let's hope we win against NZ also.
Partial redemption after the bad losses. Something to cheer
Haris Sohail, certainly the difference between two sides. Great job. I didnt see fielding so cant comment much but dropped catches are aweful. Saw the wickets atleast finally bowlers tried some yorkers. Too little too late?!
