I was doing some research and currently we dont have ANNNY batsman who have had any impact in world cups in the past.
The best batting averages we ever had were Ramiz Raja (surprisingly) and Saeed Anwar (not so surprisingly). And even then we have Saeed Anwar trumping Ramiz because of his very high strike rate… (no wonder among all cricketers, I miss Anwar the most)
The whole bunch of cricketers like
Inzamam
Mohd. Yusuf
Younis Khan
Misbah
Afridi
Umar Akmal
Shoaib Malik
have nothing to show since 1999 WC and present. Its like we just cant take WC pressure.
So for me personally, I had no hopes from this side anyways. Especially the current crop. Hell we dont even have any world class bowlers to give our fragile batting any lifeline.
don't be so pessimistic...things can change between now and the world cup. if parchi system is shunned, i'm sure there can be some positive outcome.

There is nothing to do with Parchi System, liking or disliking was always the part of our team or every team. The Truth is this we are not getting talented players or you can say Natural Cricketers like we had in the past.

KKF bhai what r u smoking these days? Ok, keep it to urself. The parchi system has been there since the reign of dinosaurs. One such species was Ijaz butt, he was the peti-souraus flippingabrata, or something on those lines, dont know if it was mammal or aquatic. And between now and world cup, OCB can dramatically shed their main source of income, the parchi system. Pessimistic?
Parchi system...lobbying...nepotism, these have always been part of our sports/education/every system.
The only thing is, as @Howzat indicated... our players are not talented enough, or are not mature enough. For this is surely blame hindi films. Ok that was a joke, but with a knack.
