Today’s a pretty slow DVD day, what with the biggest releases (arguably)* The Informant!*, The Vampire’s Assistant, and The Box. But something potentially nifty caught my eye while browsing through Amazon.com. Seems that Warner Bros. Home Video has a new blu-ray sales plan up their sleeve, which is why you’ll notice these brand-new releases on shelves today:
Grumpy Old Men & Grumpier Old Men
Miss Congeniality & Miss Congeniality 2
Dirty Harry & Magnum Force
Presumed Innocent & Frantic
$18 a pop at Amazon. Not a bad deal, if you like both flicks. That’s all. Just found it a little interesting. Maybe one day they’ll do one of these for some horror flicks. Good ones, I mean. Not the Dark Castle stuff.
