[li]If you have undereye circles it’s best to focus on the upper part of your eyes - so don’t line the lower lashes or apply mascara there. If you feel naked without mascara on your lower lids opt for a clear brow and lash gel, which will separate the lashes on your lower line opening up your eyes.[/li][/ul]

Hands can be an age giveaway, so make sure you look after them. For long term fixes read our expert’s guide to getting younger looking hands but for a quick youth fix cut your nails short and paint them in a bold colour. Researchers found that doing so makes your hands look younger

[li]A morning session with a face scrub will restore pinkness to your cheeks and give you a youthful glow. Just don’t scrub too hard, remember to use gentle sweeping strokes instead.[/li][/ul]

[li]To keep lipstick from feathering into those tiny lines around your lips, choose a lip pencil that matches the colour of your lips NOT your lipstick. It will keep the lipstick in place and also create the illusion that your lips are naturally thicker.[/li][/ul]

[li]Now that you have filled in your smackers with liner, you need to choose the perfect shade of lipstick to give you back your vitality. Lips lose their rose bud colour as they age, so choose soft, vibrant shades in berry or apricot tones. Other shades will sadly wash your pout out.[/li][li]Nothing is more ageing to your face than, well, age spots, which appear after too much exposure to the sun. The long term solution is to wear an SPF every day to stop any more damage to the skin. A quick fix to get rid of them is to apply an opaque foundation - one that will give coverage without the heavy feel that might accentuate wrinkles, fine lines and pores. Dab it on with a damp sponge to ensure an even, light coverage.[/li][li][URL=“http://style.uk.msn.com/beauty/photos.aspx?cp-documentid=154377738&page=17”][/li][li]Nothing shouts youth more than a set of gleaming gnashers. For quick whitening results invest in some strips to wear throughout the day. They get to work whitening your teeth whilst you’re at work. Genius.[/li][li]Too much eye make-up can be really ageing - but so is none. Update your eye palette with neutral shades such as copper and cocoa. Make sure that the colours aren’t too matte, as a light sheen can add radiance, and choose a cream formula. It will glide over fine lines and folds rather than settling into them and adding years.[/li][li]When washing your hair, make sure you only put conditioner through the ends of your hair and never at the root. This will keep it from falling flat, as conditioner on the roots will cause hair to sit limp at the crown. Heavy conditioner can weigh down your roots, causing flat hair which will drag down your features, making you look older. And when styling your hair add mousse to give it extra volume. Look for a mousse containing panthenol, as this will bulk up the hair without making it flat.[/li][li]Spritz on a grapefruit fragrance and watch the years fall off. Seriously. Research from Chicago’s Smell & Taste Treatment & Research Center tested a variety of perfumes and found that one fragrance caused the wearer to be perceived as much as six to 10 years younger than their actual age. The odour was grapefruit. The researchers believed this might be due to the fact that historically ancient people who consumed citrus fruits in abundance were healthier and more fertile than those who subsisted mainly on meat[/li][li]Change your black eyeliner to navy. The blue hue will brighten the whites of your eyes which tend to yellow with age.[/li][/ul]

And don't forget make up. A little can go along way to hide imperfections. Read up on which ones might work best for you and how to apply them. Concealer can make you look better if you have dark circles under your eyes. Good luck and smile. A smile always makes you look better.
Get a great haircut, colour and some streaks. Buy some new makeup and some cool clothes...a makeover every now and again does wonders for morale!
