Oil had dropped from 120 plus to 27 $ per barrel. There was blood on the street. Pundits and pundints alike were calling for 20 being the next low. Statisticians chimed in with realms of data to support this hypothesis. But these two veterans of many market cycles stood firm. It is the bottom, one said. I am buying had over fist, chimed in the other. And they were spot on.

To celebrate this mother of all calls, the GS Business Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Captain and queer will be held at 2 PM. Please join us in congratulating them. These two definitely know bottoms. And call them as they see them.

I could never understand the real cause of oil price drop. I know many people put their finger to one or two reasons but i dont buy it. I think its a huge variable of many reasons. Its still not so clear though. :hoonh:

There probably was no person in the world who would have predicted oil dropping from 120 plus to 27. And when it was at 27, many pundits called for lower levels.Except two.

That is why we held the ceremony yesterday. Where were you?
