Gosh, waxing is soo messy! I end up with strings of wax everywhere when I'm finished :/
just rub vaseline after the wax on the area and wipe it with a dry cloth
well that’s not so bad 
a pricelist that i saw for a local salon … their charges were between 35 and 45 euros

my question may be a bit not so related but...they say that with waxing your underarms are suppose to go lighter in colourwise i mean....and i have been waxing regularly for couple of months now but i dun c any difference...any effective home remedies for lightening the underarms...:)

Waxing won't help if they're already discolored :(
Hot-wax or sugaring are both great. To minimize the pain take a painkiller an hour before waxing, u can purchase numbing creams and leave them on for half an hour and carry-on waxing as normal.
- The area should be clean and dry (dust talcum powder)
- Pull away from the grain of the growth
- Apply a soothing get such as aloe vera gel right after.
do the numb creams have side effects??

Sumone on GS told that Strawberry Frase (also Called straberry body polish) of Bodyshop really help in lightening skin, specially of underarms thats is ruined by diapolatry creams

I usually end up burning myself with hot wax lol so better off having any wax treatments at a salon!

damn the first time wax after years of creams and shaves was a $%^&*! ugh … but the growth afterwards was remarkably late and fine. :k:

^Same here!! i couldnt do my underarms in just one day cuz it hurts so badly so i continued next day.
But Hot wax, is it same as the sugarwax that also is a bit warm or?
and how do you guys manage to keep that area streched and tight, its not very easy.

^tell me about it.. Its one of the most painful experiences, cant even take anybodys help. I too tried waxing to get rid of the discolouration.
I always found that the wax on those sheets was not strong enough for underarm/legs hair.
I use the hot wax, it works every time, its a bit messy but you get used to it......and it does become easier

I usually heat the Veet strips using my hair dryer. This way they become hot and it is some what easier to wax.
