Everytime I do this, i rip my skin on my upper lip..how to stop this?
I use the green tea tree wax and heat it up and put on my upper lip..then place strip and pull it off…
i think generally my skin is sensitive coz in the past a beauticiain ripped small part of my skin off my arm when she waxed them and so she was extra careful doing them next time…
I do thread aswell, but prefer waxing coz it all comes off quickly and neatly..
any methods to try??
Otherwise i have no hair on my upper lip but loads of scars and by the time scar heals the hair is back..argh!
I use the same wax, but for people with sensitive skin, you need an even lighter wax. The wax you are using is for thick hair. You need to get a lighter wax (the ones you find at the drugstore made for white peoples hair!). Like Veet, or Nads or something. also, before you start waxing, put baby powder all over your upper lip, or wherever you are waxing, so the wax only sticks to your hair, not your skin.
use wax specially made for sensitive skin. and only do it once, even if you see hair left on your skin DO NOT GOT FOR THE SECOND TIME. maybe try using the one that is specially made for upper lips area.
