uhm, i think you’ll find that if you go to virtually any salon in the UK, they will use a wax heater, to heat up warm wax that comes in a tub, apply wax to your skin with** spatula**, smooth a fabric strip on top of this and pull it off.
they also use hot film wax, that does not require fabric strips, but still needs to be spread with a spatula, but this is usually for small areas such as on the face and bikini.
these waxes are not the the same kind that are used in pakistan/asia/middle east that can be picked up, spread on the area and removed directly. although you may find them used in some places it is rare.
