Re: Waxing Eyebrows ?
Plucking is hard and time consuming! I've never tried wax but I don't think you can get your eyebrows very neat.. threading is my first option.

I'm tiiiired of plucking mine, and threading would be the last option for me...
whereas threading is the easiest and finest..
Re: Waxing Eyebrows ?
Actually I find waxing to be the easiest and neatest way to do eyebrows. However, I only use Sally Hansen wax strips. I've been doing it for a long time so I'm able to get the perfect angle. But if you've never done it before I'd recommend keeping a small distance between your eye brows and the wax strip. Because you can easily grab too many hair in one rip, unless you have good control on your hand. And than you can pluck the rest. As you get more comfortable you can get closer and closer to your eye brow with the wax strip, and soon you'll never have to pluck.
I wish I knew how to thread, as everyone who knows how to do it says it's the easiest way.
Re: Waxing Eyebrows ?
I've had both done. Threading can get the desired shape with precision. If you go to a good salon, they can do a good wax job now...they're getting better and better.
Re: Waxing Eyebrows ?
i just recently tried waxing and i like it, hair came back almost after a month. i wax most part and then few hairs that were left , i plucked those. did not want to wax whole eyebrow out.
Re: Waxing Eyebrows ?
I've tried waxing and it didn't give me the nice shape threading did. If your looking to just neaten up your eyebrows then definately try wax but if you want a desired shape threading is the way to go!
Re: Waxing Eyebrows ?
I used to do wax when i was younger but the wax would irritate my skin so for like an hour. The area was red and bumpy. Also after it would get waxed the lady would trim my brows and then tweeze anything left remaining and that was painful!!! I have noticed with wax sometimes she would overdo it and once the wax is on your skin it will be ripped off. so if the wax accidentally is on eyebrows that shouldn't be removed it will have to be, same goes for if wax falls on eyelashes. it's not something you can wash out. so with that threading is just more precise and to me i get a better shape and the hair doesn't grow back as fast or as thick as it did when i waxed.

Re: Waxing Eyebrows ?
I get horrible rashes after threading so I get my eyebrows waxed. They do a little bit of threading in the end to give the desired shape .As per my experience waxing is 100 times better.....almost no pain and no cuts :) just they charge almost twice for waxing.
Re: Waxing Eyebrows ?
i have tried wax and i prefer threading over waxing. I only did waxing when i had no choice. I did not have any rashes or anything but the shapes comes out really nice with threading.
Re: Waxing Eyebrows ?
My sister in law started getting them waxed at a white place...bc her mom wouldnt let her get them thread now she doesnt have growth in that area and desis arent able to give her the arch she wants...every "new person" she gets them threaded from .... swears what they have to work with...haha they hate her eyebrows...bichari....
Re: Waxing Eyebrows ?
Thanks a lot girls !!!
I waxed them, and I’m more than happy with the result ![]()
I used some wax strips, cut them and waxed.
I’m amazed coz when I use a thread, my eyebrows are swollen and I’ve lotsa pimples; but this time not a single pimple !
Re: Waxing Eyebrows ?
but u should prefer threading sidra !!
i mean rash and pimples are complimentary with even waxing...threading is a neat way to do your eyebrows
you will love d shape of your eyebrows if your parlour wali is good :p
trust me.....
just do one thing to avoid the swollen thing.... immediately clean your eye area with an astringent or apply a toner !!
you can apply ice too ....
Re: Waxing Eyebrows ?
I prefer waxing, its much more painless for me and easier to get a neat line. It takes a while to manipulate to get an arch, and you'll need to pluck for that, but with me when i wax i dont need to do it again for about a month...but it does also depend on the sensitivity of your skin!
Re: Waxing Eyebrows ?
waxing is way more neater ..
