Re: wats khilafah abt.

Something the West will do everything in thier power to stop, so gives you an idea how urgent it is for the muslim ummah to implement especially when western governments want to stop it from happening!

Re: wats khilafah abt.

yes but yet again it is 2006 or rather i should say 21st centruey so can this be applicable today cuz back then even the christins had a ruling system i think at one time but say they rule a country now it wud not be possiable
i mean can you imgn i dont know somthing like the budist may be better a example tryn to rule a country . and they are faced wid poverty i mean how wud they deal wid somthing like that. they consider every thing matterilstic is wrong.so you would have a nation were by the imf wud screw them silly.

Re: wats khilafah abt.

Christians never had a ruling system if the did i would like to see it.

Secondy islam is the only ideology which has a spiritual and political aqeedah i.e it has the spirtual link to creator and it has political aspect to deal with lifes affairs including the running of a state.

Re: wats khilafah abt.

As AK47 said, that is not true. Christianity has supported a strong degree of separation of church and state from the early days, due to the policy of “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and unto God what is God’s” - I believe this is a statement from St Paul.

While Christian Popes have had influence on states and ruled some, there was never such a comprehensive mixture of religion and politics in Christianity as is foudn in the Islamic system of Khilafat.

At any rate, this isn’t the first interregnum in the Khilafat we’ve seen. for nearly 250 years after the Mongols sacked Baghdad in 1258 there was no universally recognised Khalifah in the Muslim world: The Mamluks and several other muslim states all claimed it.

It was only in 1517, when the Ottomans claimed it that it was recognised once more. We’ve only gone 81 years without it… inshallah in time it will be back.

Re: wats khilafah abt.

ok wat abt the time when umar khatab{r/a} went to palistine where the christians not rulein that land at the time or may be a better example would be at time of alexander when he took over the babylons they were prety advance civllisation but yet they were very rilgios.

Re: wats khilafah abt.

The USA is a religious nation too yet they don’t rule by Christianity.

Palestine when Muslims conquered it was a province of the Byzantine Empire, the direct successor state to the Roman Empire.

Re: wats khilafah abt.

thats the whole point they dont so how will the muslims in these morden times rule by a system that is like over 1400 yrs old
