Waterpik water jet

Anybody used this for cleaning teeth? Some of them come with several attachments. You can clean between your teeth, get into areas unreachable by hand, use high pressure to remove food particles, etc etc… We’ve had and used this for a while now. Love it. But someone told me that it’s not good if you have caps and fillings. Is that true? Any other experiences?

I've used it for a couple of years, but then I blv the regular brushing/flossing is as good..

Re: Waterpik water jet

Flossing is more important, as brushes don't reach below the gum line. This is what I do, brush in the morning using a normal brush, then floss at night, and then finally brush before going to be using a nice ORAL-B electric. Never had any cavities or gum problems. I also get my bi-annual cleanups.

I dont have any fillings but I doubt that. It might depend on what they use but most sealants are extremely strong, trust me.

Re: Waterpik water jet

I use the Oral B electric toothbrush and brush 2 times daily.

I dont floss…im terrible about it :bummer:

no cavities as of yet.

Niksik…I havent used the thing u are talking about but I do think they brushing properly and flossing regulary should suffice. All these fancy products are just a way for companies to make more money.

Re: Waterpik water jet

I use it but have no crowns or fillings or bridges, but the one I bought came with an attachment to clean dentures too.
