Sorry no cut and pastes.
Three entirely unrelated events were lately sold to the world at large in the name of global stability.
Three nations were directly enslaved and many more were forced to cede to the will of a global dictatorship.
**Fool me once **
Instilling terror.
The tragic events of September 2001 precipitated this war on nations. Without having established the cause, the jigsaw was quickly put together without any of the pieces; which lead many to believe the event was preordained. A new bogie-man was created, not just for wayward children at bedtime but for the masses in the land of much publicised freedom. Colour coded levels of panic were dropped out of the sky like deadly buckets of paint…we’re at orange, duck and cover.
An entire enslaved nation was subjugated further by playing on medieval values such as patriotism. Army uniforms in media became commonplace as the administration geared up for war both at home and abroad.
No one stopped to ask detailed questions about how and why, it was easier to have opinions ready made wash over the masses in waves of half-truths.
Understandably emotions ran high at the loss of innocent life; bloodlust and the right conditioning suggested that loss of further innocent life would alleviate the suffering. Whilst the story at home was buried along with the innocents.
**Fool me twice **
Invasion of Afghanistan.
In what seemed like minutes after the unimaginable had happened invasion plans were underway in some far off corner of the world. The devil personified took the shape of bedraggled masses living in Stone Age villages enmeshed in war for decades. An easy target. Internally fuelled revenge fed by the ignorance of the weak minded, along with global brother ship of the needy led to the invasion of a sovereign state and ultimately to untold massacre. Years later now the massacre continues in the name of peace, blanked from the gnat-like attention of global media it has become a testing range for untold evil.
The bogie-man never outlives his purpose as flesh and bone is transformed into a phantom of impending menace. The massacre for peace goes on.
** Fool me again **
The invasion of Iraq.
Striking while tempers are hot, focus of attention is drawn back to the unresolved power play in the Middle East. With confidence in peoples gullibility at an all time high there is little time for crediting sense out to Pavlov’s Dog’s, as the terror alert hits red.
Reports and maps are highlighted to enforce a threat to each and everyone overnight. The men still in military uniform move the war room in front of the camera’s and do everything short of having phone in requests for potential bomb targets.
There’s always room for farce in such drama, learning only too well from the Japanese pre-pearl harbour ‘diplomacy’ is ‘given a go’. Like Oscar winning thespians patience wearing thin is acted out on a daily basis, with few asking why.
Little time is wasted in putting together the coalition of the shilling and troops are put into place with care and patience like so many siege towers.
After the almighty display of fireworks, the gnats move on leaving a wake of irony as the invading army searches for weapons of mass destruction by picking through the rubble created by their own.
Now these events have become part of everyday life, the norm for the ‘way of the world’, wet dreams for extremist fascist elements have crystallised into reality. Giddy with success it’s time to re-focus. The world run like a corporation with international lawyers in the typing pool, UNion regulations side-stepped, resources seen as exploitable assets, all salute the CEO.
In this new world of good and evil, life has never been simpler all that is required is to just watch the dominoes fall
