Are any of you buying? I had been pretty much out of the stock market for the last two years. However, all that changed when I invested 5% of my cash on Friday. I was up 5% at the end of the day. However, I dont think we have hit the bottom yet. Dow 5000 anyone? What would you buy?

That was the week when the stock markets crashed through the floor:
Dow down 22.9%
FTSE down 21.1%
DAX down 21.6%
Nikkei down 24.3%

my call...do some profit taking quickly and get back into bonds..this is bound to come down again this week.
thats my plan i may not sell at the peak and I may not buy at the bottom, but for selected stocks, I will be buying low and selling high.

watch S&P and Dow futures closely. Dow futures are you on $5 or $10 per tick?

$50 per point, means $12.5 per tick for S&P
and same for Euro and Yen.
33.25 per point for Gold
40 dollar per point for canadian Dollar
and 100 dollar per point for Russels

sorry didn tell about everything, edited the post and now u can see P&F rates for markets
and it is per contract, normally i go with a 3 contracts at a time, so it means 150$ per point for S&P

lol to be honest when i m having loses i dont panic and m just normal, nothing special happens but when m in profit alhumdulilah, i start getting all panici and get worried lol, but yeah its been 4 years now so kinda used to of it.
