Other than construction spending all other economic readings were better than expected, but AIG+Contruction Spending report taking market down. Currently Dow hovering around 6800.

Citi & Bank of America will definitely be nationalize, if the drop continue. But the question is then what? I am seeing no recovery insight for the whole 2009, buy gold as much as you can !

Watched some clips of a guy saying the worst is yet to come in the form of Alt-A loans defaulting as those given 2-3 years ago are due to be adjusted from their teaser rates. A graph showed that the number of Alt-A loans due for adjustment gradually increased starting this month and moving up slightly in the coming months and then doubling that number come this September. There is more money in these then the subprime loans. I hope the bailout money already given was based on part of all these future defaults on the horizone.

The stock markets are melting now a days I am beginning to wonder if they will go negative and we will have dow at -1000. 
Imagine the scenario buy one GM share and get two Intel ones free.

Dow closed at 6594.44 (-281.4, -4.09%)
Nasdaq closed at 1299.59 (-54.14, -4.00%)
S&P closed at 682.55 (-30.32, -4.25%)
I think its time to buy… atleast for short term

So market is UP+ today,
Dow around 5% up (6868), Nasdaq around 6% (1344) while S&P around 5.5% (714).

dead cat bounce, dont think it is sustainable.
^ yep, just one news to fuel all this fire : Citibank. Tomorrow or in next 2-3 days all this gain may evaporate in thin air.
