As well as the standard A5 Convertible, Audi will also be launching the range-topping S5 variant in 2009. Powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged engine it delivers 333bhp and has a 0-62mph time of 5.9 seconds while fuel economy is a respectable 29mpg. An S tronic twin-clutch semi-automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive are both standard while the S5 also gets 19-inch wheels, xenon headlights and lowered sports suspension.
