I agree, Babar. It's rather juvenile of Shaz to call someone who has suffered enough and is dead a "kanjar." Foul language can say a bit about the person using it.
Michael Jackson has passed on and the ultimate judge of character is Allah. One does not know how they are going to be judged. A person who prays namaz 5 times a day could end up in hell for the accumulation of other serious sins.
Michael Jackson was very talented. One may not agree with his lifestyle....BUT....he used his talent and fame to help those who are less fortunate. Whether it was to raise money for the poor in Africa.......or to help find an organ donor for a child who had little time to survive.
He did more humanitarian acts than many of the seemingly "good/respectable/shareef/normal" people out there.
My mom says that you never know what quality in a person Allah might like that could be the basis of His forgiveness and mercy. There is a hadith where a prostitute's sins were forgiven by Allah because she gave water to a thirst-ridden dog. And prostitution is a haram way of earning a living. Similarly there is a hadith that a woman went to hell for being cruel to her cat. It's important to try our best as individuals because we're going to be judged as individuals. So let Allah be the judge of one's character and fate in the next world.
