Hi everyone! I don't know the Washington DC area very well and I'm hoping someone can help me with recommendations. We're coming for a wedding in July and will be staying near Reston.

  1. Mehndi lady - we are looking for someone to come to the house to apply mehndi for 20-25 ladies.
  2. Formal Hair/MU - we are looking for someone (or a team) to come to the house for formal hair and make up for 12-15 ladies.

Highly recommend @Hennaink.rehma for mehndi!! She’s been my go-to for a few years now. I’m always amazed by her work and her speed and the stain is always so gorgeous!

Also, I agree with all the make up artist suggestions. However, even though Masooma’s work is great, she is not reliable. I have heard from many people that even though she agrees to do makeup, she always comes up with some excuse before the actual day to start at a later time than what was originally agreed upon. She ends up coming late and rushes to finish makeup. So definitely not an ideal situation for a group of girls.

sana khalid is good for makeup and does great hairdos! i've had both done and loved my look. she's got competitive pricing. other's i like:
