which place has better Aug 14 celebrations? Anyone know whats scheduled to happen this year (anyone show etc). im planning my summer vacation, and i spend aug 14 in either city…so i decided I’d ask you guys..zaada hungama kahan hota hai aur kiya hota hai

In fact, they don't even have the DC Pakistani Independence Day celebrations anymore... :D
It's actually quite embarassing. The Pakistani's would always leave a huge mess in the area, and it would all be very unorganized, so, the district authorities told them they weren't allowed to have it in DC anymore. They're very strict about stuff like that in DC...it's pretty clean...after all, it's the nation's capitol.

AE - yea, believe it or not…the monumental/mueseum-ish area of DC is very clean…=)
