i didnt knwo where to post this thread..
so oh welll
i know its kinda stupid question but i had to askk
i never wore my winter coat during that time of the mont h because of paaki naapaki issue.
bu this time i got the thing when i had my coat on .. so im not sure if i have to have it dry cleaned to wear it again ? my freinds saying that since the coat didnt touch the body .. its not napak and theres no need to wash it?
i also read online that u are supposed to sprinkle water all over any napaak clothes to “purify” them.
another q related to it.
I read in akhbar-e-jehan after getting done with ur period u have to get rid of every single pubic here to read namaz . Now hte thing is I wax and for me hair grows back after a month and a half while my cycles comes ever 18-20 days. Obviously i cant wax teeny tiny hair and I always thought ur hair has to be a certain length before u remove it. I just wanted to make sure if its okay to not wax/shave right awayy and if its making u napak or anything?
all i know is, after u get ur period u have to take a shower (and maybe trim the pubic hairs but not sure) and wear clean clothes..buss! Its not possible to remove every single bit of pubic hair for some people....I didn't think it was that complicated
^ lol i know that too .. the thing is my hairs are too small to trim them or anything .. but it said in the magazine that u have to emove them completley or its gunah.
and i always thought whatever u wear during that time u have to wash it before u could use it again.. but with the winter coat i dont knwo -now that i think about it i dont see the reason of it to be napak or anything.
my sister goes overboard with cleaning too .. she even washes all the hangers and wipes jewellery and the inside of the shoes with a wet cloth :S
I believe the hair is supposed to be the length of a "grain of rice" before you have to trim it. Anything shorter should be ok. This goes for the nether regions as well as underarm hair. As far as the clothes go. I heard at a dars that your clothes do not become napaak. In fact you can even lend your dupatta (that you're wearing at the time you're having your period) to someone to say their prayers with. You can touch a jaanemaaz even. If you happen to get some blood on your clothes, you need only rinse it out, and then you're good to go. You can say your prayers in those same clothes too. Hope this helps.

Yes, I have personally asked an aunty who regularly attends madrasa and is very religious, she told me the same.

And for napaaki of cloths, i'm told that you can even tilawat Quran during your periods and no piece of clothing you wearing during your periods gets napaak unless the blood gets on it.
