Wasaga Beach @ Maghrib

This is just a pic I took at Wasaga beach a couple o’ weeks ago close to maghrib time.
The waves were pretty rough all day long. Just about at this time, the water became so very calm (you can notice that from the pic) and stayed so till the last speck of light disappeared.
It would be a very nice and relaxing place to be at dusk if you just removed all the friggin’ Night Clubs from accross the road :mad2:

Wasaga beach is the world's longest Fresh-water beach. It's in Ontario. A bit north of Mississauga (Toronto).

P.S: The quality got screwed during compression. Sorry 'bout that. :(

Is it really fresh water? I would never step foot into that water. It's filthy.

Last time I was there, I bought this huge inflatable allegator. It was 8 feet long and lots of fun in the water. Still have it and ready to roll and tumble . Wasaga beach and Blue mountain resorts are 1 - 2 hours drive from my place in Markham. worth it though. :D

ha ha ha ... sirf naam ka hi fresh-water hai. The shore-line's filled with debris. They're only concerned with keeping the area where people sun-bathe clean. :P

lol … you wasted ur money man. If u’d looked carefully, u might have found a real alligator. :hehe:

Yes...Wasaga Beach used to be a great place to swim. Not anymore unfortunately. It's polluted so much that like Mehnaz says, you wouldn't even consider putting your feet in it. Too bad.

The dusk view is great though. Thanks for sharing....I haven't been up there in years.
