Re: Was Pakistan meant to be secular like India?
I know he was a modrn man but the idea he championed was of an islamic state for muslims…
If you love the idea of being secular then what was wrong in living with hindu majority india which was also going to be a secular state…You want a secular nation for followers of a particular religion is not this idea sounds funny…![]()
If he believed in secularism he must had supported united india…
When you want separate state for a religion then that is just against the basic principle of secularism…![]()
Waise which kind of secular pakistan he wanted?
like france where hijab is banned but christian nuns are allowed to don scarf
or like Turkey where head scarves are banned and changed script oif their own language
or India where they have Bhoomi Poojan for every big government project…and cow slaughter is not allowed and you can not buy meat if its Gandhi jayanti even if it is one of your Eid…![]()
P.S. forgive any kind of typo mistakes…![]()
