Want to ask this question to mothers who had PCOS but easily got pregnant with baby 1. Was getting pregnant with baby no 2 just as easy?

I don’t know about PCOS but I have seen quite a few couples who had secondary infertility that is trouble conceiving after the first child.

I have PCOS. It took me a year to conceive, but once I started seeing a reproductive endocrinologist I was able to get pregnant right away. And now I got pregnant by surprise. We weren’t trying, it just happened.

But have you had your periods regular? Or was it irregular due to PCOS?

My period was irregular but I would still get it every month. My cycle would be anywhere from 32 days to 40 days.

I don’t have PCOS but it took us more than a year to conceive our second baby and we actively TTC.

See a doctor if you are unable to conceive for a year, 6 months if you are 35 or over. If you have an underlying medical issue then your doctor may have different guidelines for you as well. I have seen people who have had just one kid and were unable to have another. There are different reasons. But don’t assume that if you have had one kid, you can have another one easily esp. if you have been trying for a while.
