I was out shopping and saw money lying on the ground. I picked it up and gave it to customer service. This lady came up to me and said you could have put it in the donations to charity box.

I wonder if she’d have said that if it had been her money left on the floor lol

You did the right thing imo.. If no-one comes forward it can always be put in the charity box later..
