I am here as student. I want to learn.
But one thing that I want to challenge is that Islamic shariat is not global. Its interpretation changes with time and space, and the same applies to Quran. Do not take Quran too literally. It is a coded book, a book of principles and inspiration.
A 50 years old man can marry 9 years old girl 14 centuries ago. We can count on his good intentions. But for now, we should condemn such marriages, if we r not willing to let our 9 years old daughter and sister marry off to 50 years old man.
Mullah controlled version of Islam is stupid interpretation, lacking the spirit of Islam. It gotta be challenged and resisted.
