Was Aishwarya Rai labeled an aunty by Sonam Kapoor?

None can forget the stir created in the media world when Sonam Kapoor had uttered something about.

The most beautiful woman in the world, Aishwarya Rai. Both the actresses endorse different products of the cosmetic brand L’Oreal.

The incident angered Aishwarya Rai very much and L’Oreal decided to keep Sonam at a distance from Ash.

Sonam was even kept back from attending the Cannes Film Festival.

An international event graced by L’Oreal beauties from round the globe. One thing that hurt.

Re: Was Aishwarya Rai labeled an aunty by Sonam Kapoor?

Not that I'm a huge fan of Aishwarya.........so I'm not defending her here.

I had read that Aishwarya told Sonam to basically get off the red carpet. Maybe it's true....maybe it isn't. But if it IS........that wasn't right. Aishwarya needs to understand (she's been in the business long enough) that she's working for a VERY SUPERFICIAL industry where one day you're on top and the next day you arent. One day, an actress with actual talent is on the top, and the next days she's toppled over by someone who is just a fraction prettier but not necessarily talented. Telling someone to "get lost" reflects insecurity.

NOW............if Aish acted wrong...................Sonam (as a new actress who is trying to establish herself) could have behaved with more class. She didn't have to call Aish an "Aunti". That's pretty juvenile. She may be young, but she can't consider herself to be the nanhi si/munni si/pyari si/choti bachi of Bollywood. She needs to understand that SHE TOO will one day find the media giving more attention to actresses that are YOUNGER than HER. Youth does not last forever. And will she also go around calling Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherjee, Kajol, Bipasha, Vidya Balan, Karishma "Aunty" as well? She's going to end up making more enemies than friends in the industry.

Also, she might find herself working with actors like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, SRK.............will she call them *"UNCLE" *???????????????????????

In that case............all these veteran actors should turn around and condescendingly call her "BACHI" or "KAAKI" or "MUNNI" or "PINKY or "BUBLY." And that would sting her because nobody likes to be viewed as an amateur. Youth is like a double edged sword. It can represent freshness and energy. On the other hand it can also represent naivete and amateurishness. So, she need not be too proud either. If she acted with class.....it would make her look GOOD as a newcomer.

Anyhow.......both actresses are silly.
