Warren Weinstein killed in drone strike

This guy was abducted from Lahore in 2011 and killed in a drone strike earlier this year. Obama is apologising for his death, is it only as he was a US citizen? Will he also apologise for hundreds of other nameless and faceless people killed in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia over the years? maybe in a selective apology mode?

Re: Warren Weinstein killed in drone strike

Its good that he apologized for a US citizen killed in airstrike by his own countrymen, its because US govt cares (at least to rest of world) when it comes to protecting its citizens. Can we say same about Pakistan? How many are killed by our bombings but do we such apology by army/govt?

If we don’t show such care for our citizens then it would be even less cared by other countries.
