^ The system has improved now and PM's do go out when warning is issued.

I think the system would be a lot fairer if it was like when you commit a driving offence and you get points on your licence. Reach twelve points and you get banned, however after 3/4 years of committing an offence the points get removed from your driving licence. So unless you are a serial offender you are ok. With this system it is only a question of time before a lot of people get banned, and then they are allowed back under different nicks. What is the point?
I also think that there should be clearly defined offences so that personal whims of the administrators are not a factor in giving out warnings. So that warnings are fair and not just a matter of luck or the mood of someone on that particular day.

^ The system is being improved all the time. Warnings are not given at whims, thats just an assumption on your part. There are clearly defined rules and mods follow those rules. You can see the reason why warning was given to you and when it will expire. If it says never than you can contact admin and discuss it. In the first instance discuss it with the mod who gave you the warning. Hopefully this facility will increase transparency in our dealing with guppies. Most of the warnings are for fixed time only.
Also banned people are not allowed back under a different nick. Sometimes they slip the net and do come back with another nick and as soon as we find out about it the nick is restricted. many a banned people have tried and failed to come back. One got caught last night and was sent packing. The system is not without its fault but works most of the time.

Does this very refined system of yours issue warnings to nicks or members??
Cause if its nicks then a member with multinicks are flying easy :D

^ Warning is issued against a nick, however if a member is banned when he/she reaches their maximum points all associated nicks are banned as well, and yes in almost all cases our system tells us which nicks belong to which member.
