Warning: It may be offensive to most -

Salo - 120 days of Sodom, directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini (who was murdered after the movie was released). I want to know the truth. Who has seen it and what was your opinion?
I don’t want to start a mud slinging thread here and neither do I want to know the details of the movie. It’s based on Marquis de Sade’s The 120 Days of Sodom. Has anyone read the book? And would you recommend anyone to read it?
I know this is an offensive topic so if you can’t contribute here, don’t bash me either.

Elaborate, so I can bash you.

^ Google it.

Reading this review it seems quite freaky and disgusting.

^ LOL! That's a funny review :D The other reviews highly recommended this movie.

That should give you an idea about the mental state of those reviewers. Publish their names, so we can avoid them! :-D

And if I told you it was my "favorite" movie, would you call the police? :D

Thats whats being recommended, right?

Well I'll be honest, I almost downloaded it. But then didn't. I couldn't even digest Kill Bill.

Kill Bill was almost like a cartoon. This seems like hardcore stuff.

^ Yeah. I'm just curious has anyone actually watched it?

it seems horrible hamsa :-/

haaN, Thap watched it. Actually, he has watched it over and over again. Watching this movie is like some sort of his weekend ritual that he can't just live without.

Hehe

OMFG!

humsa,,, ur beginning to worry me :-/

u,d be better off taking up golf instead, trust me.

Humsa, this movie sounds extremely wrong! Anyway, if you want to watch a good movie based on the Marquis de Sade, the one who wrote 120 Days of Sodom, watch Quills. It stars Geoffrey Rush, Kate Winslet, Joaquin Phoenix and Michael Caine. It's very good.

I have seen Quills… interesting movie but couldn’t digest the last bit…

I liked Quills. It was interesting ... Marquis de Sade was an interesting fellow and a lot of the movie revolves around how people took his writing/stories and the effects it had on those around him.
