besides, India enjoys a good relationship with Saudi Arabia and other middle eastern countries. after all, world’s largest Muslims live in India after Indonesia.
India is looking beyond export-import relationship. Saudi Arabia could be a major FDI source in near future. Thanks to long history of non-alliance, Riyadh doesn't expect more from New Delhi like sending troops to Yemen. India should develop ties with both Saudi Arabia and Iran so it is important to maintain equillibrium, she shouldn't go far beyond business interests and diaspora concerns.

He seems to be more interested in "Frequent Flyer Miles" rather than solving the problems of the country. He had a lot of hope riding on him and the only riding he does now is on the flights overseas.
India has good relations with Saudi Arabia. India is a very significant trade partner and largest recipient of remittances going out from KSA.
India has very good relations with SA, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Syria, Qatar, Bahrain, Israel, etc. It's only pakistan which has to choose sides.

The number of Muslims in BD and Pak far outnumber those in India. Your statement is incorrect. Both BD and Pak have more muslim population than India.

so, officially yes but all the Muslims in India know for a fact that the official numbers given by Census India is not correct because the enumerators willfully do not recordr the correct religion of Muslims. they do that so they do not have to provide special needs of Muslims.
Muslims in India estimate their population to be at 25% of the total population. this comes to about 25 crore Muslims [more than Pakistan's 18-20 crores].
India had it's last census in 2011 i believe.

I was talking about individual countries as well. Both individually have more Muslims each than India.
