First of all the history of Afghans is the history of pashtun, so yeh we haev had our share of traitors, but we have held strong. We have not been conquered per say, although our land has been ravaged, divided (be it afghanistan or pashtunistan). Second, Afghanistan president maybe a puppet but he has no control out of Kabul, where as Musharraf has enough control over Pakistan. So the effective puppet is your homeboy Musharraf.

Did I say Musharraf is'nt a puppet, obviously he is. Nor do I support him. But if you think Karzai is'nt then why do the Americans freely conduct operations in Southern Afghanistan?
Are the Americans openly and freely working in Pakistan?
