for thousands of years we have been the world most powerful nation in
the world, we did not bully the world , instead we output culture ,better productivity technologies , medcine etc to other parts of the world. The
Ming Dynasty emperor even sent a huge fleet to south east asia, south
asia and africa to help the local people. Today if you go to these areas
such as Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Kenya ,you can find historic sites such as temples, monuments that built by local people to memorialize the commander

I agree with you that it is our duty to try the very hard to grow strong

Agreed, a moderating influence like China would do wonders for the world. Europeans seem to believe they can invade anyone they wish and tell them to live by Western Standards, the Chinese policy is live and let live.

With all due respect to China, what makes you think that in time China won't be any different. A superpower is a superpower. If today its US, then before it was Britain, and maybe in the future it will be China. They lok after their interests first, and will probably push their culture onto others as well. I don't mean to disrespect China, its just such powers come and go, when they start abusing thats when there downfall begins. Plus, I would rather worry about my own people.

First of all the history of Afghans is the history of pashtun, so yeh we haev had our share of traitors, but we have held strong. We have not been conquered per say, although our land has been ravaged, divided (be it afghanistan or pashtunistan). Second, Afghanistan president maybe a puppet but he has no control out of Kabul, where as Musharraf has enough control over Pakistan. So the effective puppet is your homeboy Musharraf.
