Is that a helicopter?

I think so, though I think only one helicopter of that type has been shot down in Chechnya, and it was in 2002, not 1999.

I've got the video that the mujahideen took of the helicopter being shot down sitting on my hard drive - but my GS video uploader doesn't work so I can't share it :(

yah i think i know what video you are talking about. mashallah that was awsome. but chechens have shot down scores of helicopters and have regularly released their videos to the public to increase awareness of the fight there...may allah bless them

WHy is it that we are killing and driving out these ffreedom fighters from Pakistan, where they have been given a refuge by the local people? We call them terrorists, no?

i feel kinda sorry for him, that a guy who knew so much about islam would fight against those who say la ilaha illalah. yes there might be some actions of chechen mujahideens i do not agree with, but it still does not mean that the fight of the chechen mujahideens is wrong or unjustified. i feel sorry for him because he acted like a hypocrite because he joined the forces of people who say la ilaha, meaning there is no god, against the forces of those who said la ilaha illalah, meaning there is no god but Allah.

How to post pictures!

It just goes to show that the best of men can become the worst of men, and the worst of men can become the best of men.

In 1996, Akhmad Kadyrov was one of the leading ulema of Chechnya, and a great leader of mujahideen in his own right, a hero amongst Muslims and a hero to Chechnya.

8 years later, he was leading the oppression of his own people, of his Muslim brothers, with foreign backing, foreign soldiers…
