yeah may be, “things are better than when under taleban” may be only for US. do you think under taleban innocents were bombed like US/NATO did? or under taleban poppy production was this high? or under taleban body bags of US/ NATO soldiers were shipped this fast? except those very much speculated “women rights issues”, which were of course reported by western media which cannot be trusted anyways
and how much things are better or going to be better after this 8/9 year war, we will see in a couple of months, US has already started withdrawal from some areas in north.
and for whether that guy above called it success or failure, i think when we say “something is now better” or “we achieved something” we must always consider what we had to lose to have that “better” or “achievement”, and in this case, we have lost nothing except thousands and thousands of civilian lives, majority of which is women and children, if we cannot (and should not) justify this lose we should not consider the so called war an achievement on any grounds whatsoever, be it a handicapped govt, a few hundred thousand dollars, or “women representation in govt”
CM: yeah professor, you know everything, i never claimed how much i know : )
