I must have missed that one. Justice Qayums report mentioned Ijaz. The two whistle blowers, Amir Sohail and Rashid Latif have never mentioned Aqib either.

Please let me know if you remember the ex-captains statement that you mentioned.

I don't think Aqib was there, otherwise I don't think he'd be closer to A team.

Maybe I am wrong but didn't Afridi blabber about aaqib in that video that leaked after the 2010 aussie disaster...?

Yes I think you are mixing up Aaqib with Waqar/Wasim. Waqar and Wasim were fined by Justice Qayum. Aaqib was one of the few players to come out of the 90s CLEAN.

Afridi and Aaqib never played a test together and only played a few ODIs together. Is this the video you are talking about :

well that video doesn't seem have all the sound bites...
ok then why did they threaten to sack aaqib and aijaz after the spot fixing scandal and before the new look test team went to UAE?

Not sure what you are referring to, Aaqibs career was over by the mid 90s. His medium pace had no place in the attack anymore. Ijaz on the other hand kept playing untill 01-02.

Still everyone believes what they want to. Waqar and Mushtaq have been coaches and they were reprimanded by the Justice Quyum inquiry.

I am not talking about when he played. I am referring to since he has been assistant coach.

Aaqib was still the assistant coach during the world cup 2011.

I didnt know that they sacked him after the world cup.
