^ snap - Palki in zamzama is where we get our tailoring done. We initially went there to look at some bridal outfits, but were more interested in the Sari's they had. Apparently most of his outfits were imported from India...
no wonder...those sarees are nothing like the indian kum kum sarees or something but more like wat they wear in bollywood...

how much do they charge for tailoring?
They were charging 600 rupees when I was last there for a normal kameez shalwar outfit. He is a little steep, but we've tried many tailors in Karachi and they seem to provide the best fitting and designs, whatever your shape.
^ Oh...that's good to know. And you know what, 600 Rs. isn't so bad if you think about it...if I am spending thousands on the material, I want the final product to look really good.
Do they have a catalogue with designs? And what's the turn around time like?

How much does a "NICE" sari cost in pakistan at palces like "shaadi ka ghar" or Mohsins Sons in pindi?
I bought a saree from Anarkali (saree mahal), full of kaam, easily could cost around $200-300 over here... i got it for 8000 (down from 14K thanks to my mother in law!)
