Are there any less-involving-math-careers at NASA? It’s my dream to work for NASA, but I just can’t find the right career. Apparently, every exciting career requires tons of math. Tell me some careers that will land me a good job at NASA or a similar and smaller agency, without having to deal with too much math. Here are a few careers I absolutely love (with too much math unfortunately): Aerospace/aeronautical engineering, Atmospheric sciences, Astronomy, geophysics, Meteorology, Aviation, astrophysics, and Oceanography.
It’s not that I don’t like math, but number crunching is the last thing I would want to do at work. A little bit of math doesn’t hurt…
What am I doing right now? pre-architecture
P.S. I need quick answers, so don’t move this to what’s-the-name forum, please.
PCG- I have done a semester of pre-med and that was enough. Biology is not my thing! I am more inclined towards physics/aerospace. Besides, the fields of study you mentioned in the PM are by far too boring for me. Thanks for the PM though.
Well... there are quite a few non-Science career options with NASA...
with your background in Architecture studies, and your aversion to quantitative work, why not explore something with the Earth-Science division at NASA - you can work with Earth Science technology equipment to create designs, illustrations and graphics with design tools etc.
