While it's a great idea, i don't think it will do too well for any prospective Pakistani pilots wanting to join IAF. Because it will serve direct conflict of their own identity and national interests.
Reason why USA/Britain and a number of other nations have been so successful at recruiting all colors, ethnic background, and religion oriented individuals is because the nations themselves are a healthy mix of immigrants. That is not the case with India or even Pakistan. Both of these countries are highly concentrated with born citizens whose roots are of Pakistani/Indian descent, but there are some exceptions ofcourse. Like someone mentioned up there Nepalis have proven to serve well under Indian banner.
I doubt very much IAF will be willing to take in pilots from Pakistan or other nations whose interests maybe at conflict with India. But then again, anything's possible. :)
