it s really fast, and I recmmend it :biggthumb
I am using it. Its nice. I don't know/care about the engine of the browser, but from a user interface viewpoint, FireFox is very similar to IE, and thats helps in bringing coverts.
Re: speed. I am not so sure. I found Opera to be much quicker. Both FireFox and IE seem to be about the same.
Firefox much better than IE. It has it's faults mainly a few bugs you notice sometimes but it's not matured to version 1.0 yet.
Looks like 1.0 is out not kept up with tech news as of late. Time to upgrade.

When IE had serious security issues I switched over to it. However, I ended up switching to Netscape.
I couldn't even drag and drop the Firefox windows to create shortcuts. There were many other problems that I encountered that I can't recall at the moment.
Overall, I didn't like it.
IE is HOT. every so often when it notices im bored out pops a window with a lady showing her posterior, presumably by accident, although I dont entirely discount coquettishness.
no matter how suggestive Mozilla tries to be ('firefox' no doubt cheesily alluding to firy, foxy ladies), I doubt they can top ms. black lace. when it comes to HOTness, nobody beats IE.
addendum to the above.. I would like to suggest that those fortunate enough to use IE not click on the popups of the black lace lady, even if she is inviting you to do so. it is usually better for a long term relationship to keep the lady waiting for a bit to show your importance. i have had her minimised for the past two weeks, and will respond to her advances in due time.

i still use IE for major purposes and Opera when speed browsing is required....
might switch to firefox soon....
but i know i will never ever instll netscape again, it is fast but it is just a bundle of crap....
Netscape is no match to IE, but it isn't at all bad. In fact, I have to browse half the sites using Netscape as they won't work properly on IE.
I gave up on FireFox after using it for a few days. It was horrible. I don't think I'd want to reinstall it unless they come up with a major upgrade that can knock out IE.
since we’re discussing firefox here, how do i go to GS chat here? cuz it says it needs to download a few plug-ins, and when i say ok it say it cudn’t find any 
Nes, you need to install Java for Firefox. Go to plugins page from top MENU, and then install Java first.
