Well done Courtney!!!! :):):):)
I think Warne is the man to better the mark.
I know that Wasim & Ambrose are closer; but they will need at least 10 to 12 more tests to go past 435 & that seems unlikely seeing that tests are getting rarer & rarer these days.
Plus, it will be interesting to see whether Walsh carries for anothe year! If he does, he'll have his tally elevated to around 460 - 470. Then, only Warne will be fit enough to chase the record.
By the way, it will be interesting to see whether Waqar can make it!

SUhail u know vettori graduated from Hamilton boys high school, and i graduated from the same school too apart from him being 2 years senior offcourse.... and he lives in same subarb as me

Only at present Shoaib Akhtar has got the upper hand to become the world's best bowler, he can beat the record for the most wicket taker and also fastest bowler, we should all pray for this gentleman's success, because at this moment there is no batsman who can taken on Akhtar.
No Sajjad, I don't think that's possible.
Shoib is a very fast bowler & this fact takes its toll on him. He won't be able to bowl for 6-7 tests an year apart from the 40-50 ODIs. Looking at the fact that speed is his main weapon & he has to bowl at 140kmph constantly, he will break down if he is overburdened.
The 450 mark is possible only for people who are slow or medium pace bowlers like Walsh, Kapil, Warne, etc. Even players like Wasim, Hadlee did not generate much pace (in the later half of their career). late Marshall is offcourse a great exception!
