Re: Walls of Khana e Kaaba...

Re: Walls of Khana e Kaaba...
^ Haram...Allah's house in which killing of any living thing is Haraam...Haram means Glorified, paak, 'azmat waalaa.
taHreem is a derivative of this name. TeHreem is a nice girl's name.
i dunno much about the etymology of Haram. i believe Ka'ba was know from before Islam's advent but the Haram may have come after Islam was introduced in Makkah.
wallaho 'aalam bissawaab.
Re: Walls of Khana e Kaaba...
I had decided upon this name for my baby daughter too but the meanings of hareem were different in various places. I also looked at this meaning first (walls of Kaaba ) but harem is a also turkish for womens living quarters so as the meaning became different I thought better to stay clear but i really did love the name a lot.
Re: Walls of Khana e Kaaba...
Hareen and Haram are pronounced totally different and are distinctly two different names. Hareem is a beautiful name.
btw, there are a couple of variations of this word which can bei used as names, like:
TeHreem
TeHreema
